Questions homeowners ask
Does an offline app mean my panels stopped producing?
Not necessarily. Treat missing monitoring data and verified loss of generation as separate possibilities. Record when reporting stopped and what the app says, then use the manufacturer’s support guidance. Do not infer a physical fault solely from an empty chart.
Why is production lower this month?
Weather, season, shade, system age and faults can affect output. Compare like periods and check data completeness before blaming equipment. A professional review can investigate changes; a single monthly number is not enough to establish the cause.

What information should I gather for help?
Collect the system size, equipment models, commissioning date, recent production records, dated error messages, utility bills and service history. Keep originals. Share only with the authorized service provider using an agreed secure channel; never put passwords or private monitoring links in a public post.
What should I do if I see a dangerous condition?
Stay away from damaged equipment, exposed wiring, smoke or fire. Call emergency services for immediate danger and contact the appropriate qualified service provider. Do not climb onto the roof, open electrical enclosures or repeatedly reset faults to force operation.
Can remote analysis identify every problem?
No. Data can show patterns and guide investigation, but it may not distinguish communication failures, meter issues or physical defects. Ask what the reviewer can verify remotely and which findings require an on-site electrician, installer, manufacturer or other qualified specialist.
Is a panel warranty a guarantee of my bill savings?
Equipment, workmanship and energy-performance commitments are different. Read the specific warranty and any separate guarantee, including exclusions, labor, shipping and claim procedures. A financial projection is not automatically a warranty obligation.
What if my installer has closed?
Locate your equipment warranty documents, finance or ownership contract and monitoring account records. Contact the manufacturer or system owner about service options, then find an appropriately qualified provider. Do not assume the installer’s closure cancels a loan or creates a free repair entitlement.
Can I connect my system to Solar Survey AI now?
Our homeowner connection workflow and planned free remote diagnosis are not available yet. The early-access page lets you express interest. It does not connect an inverter, create monitoring access or start a diagnosis. Available survey and inspection scope must be confirmed separately.
