Survey PDF and DXF Exports

The report and CAD handoff need clear geometry, units and an explicit link back to the survey.

Client & survey

Who it was designed for

Survey recipients and engineering teams using delivered evidence.

Available through the delivered survey sharing and export workflow for authorized admins and scoped clients.

What it does

Download a branded survey PDF with a 2D roof overview, measured-edge schedule, available geometry, photographs and primary shade report. The PDF links to the read-only shared job card.

Measured-model exports provide separate meters and international-feet DXFs. Visual-only terrain, vegetation and inferred contextual walls are excluded from measured CAD geometry.

How it fits your workflow

STEP 1

Open Share & export

Use an eligible authorized delivered survey.

STEP 2

Choose the format

Download the PDF or an available measured-model DXF.

STEP 3

Review units and confidence

Keep the geometry basis and model limitations with downstream work.

Illustrated workflow. These cards explain the process; they are not screenshots of a customer project.

The practical value

A PDF organizes the evidence while measured-model DXFs preserve supplied geometry for further review. Unit labels and confidence notes help the receiving team interpret what the files contain.

A concrete use case

An engineer downloads the survey PDF, follows its shared-job link and selects the meters or international-feet DXF when a measured roof mesh is available.

Requirements and limits

DXF export requires a measured roof mesh. Missing measured walls are not invented.

DXFs retain the local east-north-up frame and explicit units; they are not certified engineering determinations.

The PDF contains static diagrams and a shared-page link, not an embedded interactive model.
